How the Lord Provides

When it comes to providing for people, our Lord is the best. Top dog, top dollar. It may not come in money per say. But it is the best money can buy. Except it can't. But we will get to that later.

You see, the Lord provides in multifarious ways. It's easy to say He didn't in a given situation. But, He always does. He always provides. Maybe it was the depth of the situation and you just feel like it wasn't worth the effort. It was, and He saw that. He sees everything and his books are always accurate and organized.

Sometimes the Lord pays out in small ways. The right person noticed what you were doing or perhaps the wrong person walked away instead of ruining your day. Maybe a tidbit of information crossed your ears and what you do with it is up to you. It's hard to say sometimes. He also pays out in BIG ways.

I bet you'd like to know about those too wouldn't you? Well, those are really for the big players in the game. The real OG's. If the Lord provides you with a big one, you'll know it. Those people already understand how He pays. They pray for their heart's content and that's perfect. God will peer deep into that heart of yours and provide a big pay day. You might have to save up a lot of kindness, works of faith, and works of service. But boy, do they pay.

I like to ask God to choose. It's one of my favorite moments in life when you pray and say "God, I'd like you to decide how you'll provide this time". I personally feel like God always chooses the best pay out for you. And for me, it feels good because it's between you and Him and you know he understands what's in your heart. And what it is you NEED. That's a big one. Needs are almost always met perfectly if you're acting in faith.

Now don't go getting greedy or stingy. When He gives you the big ones you share it. That's part of the plan. Yes, it's yours, but when you pay it forward you are ticking boxes and they are all extra credit. Except the Lord assumes you'll go for extra credit. He knows you want that big "A" in his class.

Now remember, extra credit is how you keep your mark. Nobody's perfect and there's no such thing as perfection. But keep doing that extra credit and you'll see one day. I promise you this. And all the money in the world won't change that. But how you spend it might. Depends if you're involved or just throwing money around. Even things like shopping local make the Lord take notice. He does see everything after all.

Keep your mind open. Love the Lord with all your might. And make sure to say your prayers. That last one is super easy. So easy in fact some people completely forget it matters. Best to communicate with the Boss so that when it's time to ask for something He's one step ahead. Actually, it's usually three steps ahead. Bruce Lee knew this. I wonder who told him?

I love you and so does He.

Goodnight!
