Just be Cool

I really don't know how to explain this one, and please don't be upset if I turn your world upside down. But being cool, in my experience, means not giving a single care. Some of you think it means having babes and studs goo goo dolling over you. It ain't. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Being cool means seeing how far you can go without bending. Oh, dear readers, you will bend. But it's not likely you will break. God just didn't make us that way. He made us RESILIENT. And that's great because He really wants to bend you into something useful. Something beautiful. A recipe for success.

Success is defined by people differently. And that's perfect because success is different for everyone. If you're greedy you might get it, but it does come with a cost. When God delivers you a success it's the perfect amount of reward and humbleness. Remember that. Sacrifice has its advantages. Well, at least in God's eyes. You see this is a time when it pays to act in faith. The Lord pays for faith. Handsomely.

Outside of worldly desires there are experiences. My favorite. Sure, sometimes it's mundane. But eventually those moments and experiences add up to something. Something beautiful. Or other other times it pays out in one brand spanking new experience. And yes, you should always be weary of temptation. Whatever that is.

For me it's not much. I don't care about wealth, or fame, or power. I like influence. And I like for it to be a worthwhile and legacy building influence. I'm not quite sure it will be big enough. But, I promise I'll try anyway.
