The Presidential Train Car

This is less fiction than I planned but it does take place on the Holy Roller Express! November 5th came and went. Donald Trump was elected our 47th President of the United States of America. His supporters fought hard for victory and dealt a concussive punch to democracy. It definitely winded me. Here aboard The Holy Roller Express we like to honor our obligations and commitments. Now, no one asked for this. No one knew this was coming. Well, except Jesus. He thought it would be nice for us to do something to honor our incoming President, no matter who it was. He says "to be honest, I haven't been tested like this since I was on Earth. So pay attention, this is a lesson".I (using my Holy Spirit), our conductor Jesus, and our God who doth live in Heaven, have pulled a special train car from history. The Ferdinand Magellan, also known as U.S. Car No.1. It was a private car that served as the Presidential Rail Car, U.S. Number 1 from 1943 until 1958. It was built in 1929 by the Pullman Company. It was one of six similar cars, all named after famous explorers. After WW2, secret service agents suggested Franklin D. Roosevelt needed a specially equipped armored car. The Ferdinand Magellan was chosen and rebuilt and equipped. When the Ferdinand Magellan was rebuilt for service it had four bedrooms, and the dining room and observation lounge were enlarged. Two bedrooms are for the President and the First Lady. With a fully equipped bathroom, and bathtub. The dining room doubles as a conference room, and has a solid mahogany table that seats eight. The front end of the car holds quarters for two attendants, a pantry, a galley, mechanical equipment, storage, and ice bunkers. The car was protected with 5⁄8 inch (16 mm) armor plate on the sides, top, bottom and ends. The windows were replaced with sealed 3-inch-thick (7.6 cm) 12-ply laminated bullet resistant glass. However, It's 2024. I think we can upgrade this quite a bit. The point is, we aren't letting anything happen to this man. Weapons are not allowed on this train anyway. Jesus doesn't allow it. We do have a prison car as well. Now things are pretty relaxed on this train. And I understand we've seen some behavior from our next President that could have landed him there again and again. But the point is, the prison car is for people that think it's ok to shoot each other unprovoked. No real American is ok with our President being attacked. Do you understand? Lets keep the prison car empty, and the U.S. Car No. 1. safe at all costs. Now remember, Jesus is still the conductor. God bless you! I love you!
